WhY iS LeAd sO ApPeAlInG To Us

We chose lead because it seemed so simple and we see it everyday. I also knew that we come into contact with it everyday,so why was it so dangerous? We use lead all the time at school in our pencils and in our paint. If this is so common then why is it still allowed in the U.S? These are some of the questions we had about lead poisoning. We will research and try to find out the answers to these questions.
